Crowley County is located in the high plains of Southeast Colorado. Ordway, the County seat, lies about 50 miles east of Pueblo at the intersection of U.S. Highway 96 and Colorado Highway 71. Crowley County is a rural community with a diverse population. Many residents are a blend of ranchers and farmers, those involved in government and education, and many who are employed by the correctional industry. Due to the mild climate, easy lifestyle and low cost of living, Crowley County is a great place to live.

The Crowley County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications and resumes for the position of Administrative Assistant, in their Administration Department in Ordway. This is a full-time position, primarily responsible for payables, receivables, payroll, human resources, and general secretarial duties. Excellent computer skills are a must. The salary range is $30,000 - $33,000 with a competitive benefits package. Benefits include Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Air/Ground Ambulance Coverage, Retirement, Paid Holidays, Paid Vacation, Paid Sick Leave, Paid Personal days, Flexible Spending account, Supplemental Insurance policies as well as other leave covered by statute.
Other compensation includes Flex/Compensatory Time (as earned), Copay/Deductible/Out-of-Pocket Max reimbursement. The Crowley County Sheriff’s Office is hiring for Patrol (Deputy). This is a full-time position. Benefits include PTO, Health insurance, air/ground ambulance coverage, Flexible Spending account, Supplemental Insurance Policies, retirement, and other leave covered by statute. Other compensation, Compensatory Time, and Co-pay/Deductible/Out-of-Pocket Max reimbursement. Patrol officers must be POST Certified, must be able to pass a background check and drug screen. Must have a valid driver’s license. Starting pay is $42,000.00
